Where are you in the process now?

This question was posed to me by someone at church on Sunday. I know I will get it often, as there are many people who know we are in the process of adopting. I wish I could tell them that we were approved by an agency and had a daughter waiting for us in Taiwan. But I can't. What stands in our way? Right now, $5500. Later, lots more. Waiting is not my forte.
